Answer: Yes, this is the same as we grow that you are familiar
with, carrying quality used children's clothes at affordable prices.
I am the third owner of the business. I purchased the business from
April Karley, who purchased from Nancy Langmead. I bought the store
in July of '09 and spent the month of August moving the store to the
current location. I opened doors at 10:00AM on September 8th '09,
one hour after I dropped my son off at his first day of Kindergarten.
I am happy to report that my first year went wonderful, and I am off
to a great second year!
9) Where do you donate clothes to?
Answer: When I am able I try to keep my donations local. Some of
my regular locations include: The Abiding Place in Honeoye, The Community
Support Shop in Bloomfield. There is a clothing closet in Canandaigua
that I give to. There is also a wonderful woman I have met that runs
a clothing closet out of her own garage in Farmington to provide free
clothing to foster families in Ontario County. I have also given to
Chances & Changes, a domestic abuse shelter in Livingston County.
